You may shoot me with your words,

But still, like air, I’ll rise.

MAYA's Story...
While Era was built on the pillars of TESS and CSC as the two offered Groups within our organization, we soon began to find a need, a gap, a small community of individuals who were left unseen. They too needed a space to heal and come together in the face of adversity.
Because we know trauma takes on many different faces (i.e., intimate partner violence, assault, neglect, death and dying, relocation, etc.), we decided to position MAYA differently.
Let this be a space for young adults to come together to talk about the hardships of living and managing through all of it. These young lives are dealt a hand too soon that bears too much.
We hope that MAYA can be an offered support for those finding a way to survive and thrive not just through the day to day - but through the long game, too.
