Themes Explored
Intergeneration conflicts and Immigrant experiences
Immigration can bring grief, loss, and alienation. Cultural gaps between generations can often lead to misunderstandings and miscommunication. But there is hope. With the right support, these challenges can be understood and addressed.
Psychological and Physiological impacts of injustice
Our communities hold deep resilience, but the injustices we've faced can leave physical and emotional marks. Understanding these impacts can ease shame and open the door to healing and growth.
Self-acceptance and Identity Development
We grow through many identities over time, and it can be hard to fully accept ourselves along the way. Gaining clarity about who we are and what shaped us can make room for confidence, and deeper belonging.
