Before I formally entered the field of therapy, I supported children and families navigating neurodivergent diagnosis, helped them strengthen daily functioning, emotional regulation, and developmental growth. That early work became the foundation of my way of practice today.

I have worked directly with individuals facing inadequate behavioral and mental health resources, systemic involvement, and institutional inequities across child welfare, juvenile justice, education, and community mental health systems. My experience spans community programs, schools, clinics, foster homes, transitional housing, visitation centers, and juvenile hall—providing both in‑person and telehealth services. Across these settings, I’ve supported children, teens, young adults, families, and groups through therapy, crisis intervention, care coordination, interdisciplinary collaboration, resource navigation, and institutional advocacy.

My trauma‑focused work centers on supporting children, teens, young adults, and families as they navigate childhood and intergenerational trauma, sexual trauma and intimate partner violence, attachment wounds, adoption‑related identity and story reclamation, racial and systemic trauma, community violence, family separation, and the emotional impact of system involvement and institutional barriers.

Central to my practice is helping individuals and families reclaim their voice, rebuild agency, and advocate for the resources and services they deserve. I work alongside clients as they make meaning of their experiences, reclaim their stories, and navigate systems that have historically silenced them—ensuring they are met with dignity, choice, and empowerment throughout their healing.

A Bit About Me

I believe tenderness is not weakness. That softness is not surrender. That being gentle does not mean giving up the power of our voice.

This is what trauma has taught me: We can be hardened by what we have lived through, but we can also be softened by it. Trauma can teach us to make ourselves small in order to survive—to quiet our voices, question our instincts, and take up less space. But survival does not have to be the end of the story.

We can soften without becoming fragile.
We can be open without becoming unprotected.
We can be tender without abandoning ourselves.

There is power in finding our voice after we have been silenced. There is power in naming what happened. Supporting you in rediscovering where your voice was stripped and reclaiming your right to take up space is the journey I walk with you in.
